Kia ora I am writing to support my Nomination for a Parent representative board of trustee member for Omahu school. As a past student alongside my many family members (father, grandfather, aunties, uncles and cousins) who have attended Omahu school I feel it my obligation to give back to my community and insure the continuation of quality education. I am currently employed by MTG Hawkes Bay (Napier Museum) as a Digital Educator so understand the curriculum and the need to meet progress outcomes and student achievements whilst in a nurturing and caring environment. I believe I have the necessary requirements to assist and work alongside other board members and Principal to continue to develop these pathways for greater learning and help nurture the ties within the community to also support these pathways …… Na to rourou, na toku rourou ka ora ait e iwi!
